There has been significant confusion related to the Roller Furling Headsail Credit and the Cruising Headsail Credit. Some of this confusion revolves around the fact that for a yacht to get the Cruising Headsail Credit, you are committing to sailing with that cruising headsail as the primary racing sail. Therefore, if you receive the Cruising Headsail Credit, PHRF-NB will not give you another certificate where you do not have the Cruising Headsail Credit.
If you want to race "just a few" races with a set of racing sails, that would preclude you from receiving the Cruising Headsail credit. Click here for a brief white paper on the Roller Furling and Cruising Headsail credits.

Updates to the web will be handled slightly differently this year. Different sections are the responsibility of various individuals. What this means is that these sections (Rating List, Minutes, etc.) may be updated independent of updates to this cover page. If you are looking for specific information, check those sections even if this cover page has not been updated for a while. There's a good chance the individual sections will be current.
The problems we had been having with the PHRFAdmin@phrf-nb.org email has been fixed. You can again reach the office with this address. The 2003 form and instructions are available for download in the Forms & Letters section. We have also updated our "rule of thumb" standard adjustments. That can be found in the PHRF-NB Info section.
PHRF-NB has decided to co-locate it's office with the NBYA office at the Herreshoff Museum in Bristol. Pat Beausoleil continues as our Service Center Manager, and there is no change in the phone/fax/post office box numbers. Your can reach the Service Center at:
